With a little help from a grand entryway, a library, and over 2,000 square feet of additional space, this remodeled Contemporary style home, built in 1982, got a fresh look. The original house was a California Contemporary built in 1982.
Our challenge was to remodel this house into one more appropriate for the community and more desirable to today’s buyer. We designed a shingle style colonial remodel to fit those objectives. We began by adding on to the front to give the house more depth, a grand entry area and a library. Next, square footage was added to the side to allow for a kitchen remodel with great room. An area of just over 700 square feet.
All of the custom kitchen cabinetry was handcrafted in our own shop. The impressive second floor completed the house remodeling with oversized bedrooms and well-proportioned remodeled bathrooms.
The original house was 3900 square feet in size and the finished new home is just over 6000 square feet.
