Our clients moved into a colonial house in Mamaroneck that was built in the 1960’s. The existing kitchen was original, with rounded edges, oak cabinets an island too large for the space and lots of wear. They wanted a new kitchen that was in keeping with today’s lifestyle. Updated appliances, cabinetry, floors and counters.
After looking at some of our previous work, she picked a beaded flat panel cabinet, with 2” rails and styles and a transom cabinet to go over the wall cabinets. The maple cabinetry was painted dove white with a matte lacquer finish. The island cabinetry was built in oak and painted back to match an existing media cabinet in the adjacent family room made from the same materials. The room was finished off with a pink marble counter and hand made subway tiles.
Another beautiful kitchen and happy client.
